Frigid Temperatures Expected Overnight Across Massachusetts

BOSTON (WBZ News Radio) – The National Weather Service is issuing a cold weather advisory for Thursday night into Friday because of bitterly cold temperatures in Massachusetts.

According to their predictions, the temperatures will range from 5 degrees to -5 but that isn’t the worst part. The “feels like” temperatures will be much lower. With wind chills bringing the temperature down to -15 degrees to -25 degrees.

The NWS says that they recommend that people should cover all exposed skin, dress in layers and check on your elderly neighbors.

Pets shouldn’t be outside long and your pipes could potentially freeze.

It will remain dry according to the forecast until Saturday, but the cold will be dangerous if not taken seriously.
