Jason Isbell is a name that most country fans have heard, but I'd guess that most people don't know much about him. He's not 'country' as we know it but he is what I like to call 'Country Adjacent.' Whatever you want to call his music, he's a brilliant songwriter and performer. His music gives me goosebumps.
I'm excited to get a passenger seat ride into what it's like for Isbell, his band, his wife and producer to get together and record an album. Cameras followed the group while Isbell tried to bring his vision for his 2020 album 'Reunions.' The upcoming HBO documentary, 'Jason Isbell: Running With Our Eyes Closed' is coming to HBOMax on April 7th. That date is officially marked in my calendar.
