These days it's arguable that kids don't even know what a real phone looks like. But they definitely have no idea what a rotary phone is. I mean, I'm 40 years old and I barely remember a day when we had one in my house.
Fisher-Price is finding a way to make an upgrade to its classic rotary children's phone. If you don't know what I'm talking about, think Toy Story. The phone in that movie is based on the Fisher-Price toy.
In an effort to bring the classic into the 21st century, Fisher-Price is making the Chatter Telephone able to make real calls. It works by connecting to a smartphone via bluetooth. This allows for users to make and receive calls with the Chatter. The design of the phone will change just a little but it still has the classic look.
