Towson To Close Pennsylvania Avenue For Outdoor Dining

The center of Towson is a hotbed for restaurants. Those locations will be able to open up their doors and get some outdoor dining going this weekend

Baltimore County announced Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed starting Saturday between York Road and Washington Avenue.

Officials also announced that starting at 9am Friday, all operated parking meters will be operational during their posted operating hours. Parking meters were temporarily suspended in March, probably because no one was going there to park anyway.

The initiative is called Seats on the Streets and should be pretty exciting for the restaurants that are trying to make some money, and for the customers that have been itching to get out!
