Chicago Woman Handcuffed Naked When Police Raided the Wrong Home

Imagine you're just relaxing at home on a normal Thursday night, changing into your cozy clothes and getting ready to watch TV... When suddenly you hear shockingly loud thuds against your front door, and moments later police burst into your home!

This is exactly what happened to Anjanette Young. Young is a Chicago native; she's a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. Her job to help children coping with trauma, but now she's coping with trauma of her own, and struggling to recover.

Chicago police were working off an anonymous tip, looking for an armed man, and were supposed to raid a home across the street from Young. They mistakenly raided her home, right while she was in the middle of changing her clothes. Young says police wouldn't allow her to cover herself or get dressed; instead, they handcuffed her naked as they ransacked her home. The experience was humiliating, and her lawyer is fighting for police to turn over the body camera footage that recorded the wrong raid.
