An armored truck driver was robbed at gunpoint by three masked assailants. The driver, Sabrina Gimeno, was held at gunpoint by one of the men while the two others raided her Brinks truck, making off with more than $100,000 in cash. Gimeno says during the terrifying incident she thought she was going to be killed. The mother of three was traumatized.
Gimeno says that to make matters worse, Brinks fired her after the incident. She was a model employee for the company for seven years before the robbery took place. "I found out that following Monday that I was terminated," said Gimeno in a recent interview. "They say it’s a technicality. I don’t have anything on paper. I don’t have their reasoning on any type of paper."
