Teen Walks for the First Time in 9 Years on Her Prom Night!

This video captured the first time Tamesha Simmons walked on her own in nearly a decade!

Tamesha was just 8-years-old when she stopped walking. She suffers from a blood flow issue that resulted in a double leg amputation. However, she was recently the recipient of two prosthetic legs! And it was just in time for her big night... Prom!

Tamesha is one of many teens who got all glammed up for the annual prom night held at the Child Life Zone at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. That night, teens forgot they were at the hospital and instead got to have fun!
