A Kane County resident is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can bring back the pet deer who ran away after a storm last week.
Marty Gerdisch said Abigail was missing after a branch fell on her enclosure during a storm, allowing her to jump out and run away.
Marty lives in unincorporated Burlington Township.
Abigail is 5 months old and very small. She is tannish-brown and just lost her spots three weeks ago. Abigail has been tagged and registered, and has a purple collar around her neck, a tag on her ear, knows her name, and is very friendly.
