Kimber Bermudez is a teacher right here in Chicago. She was recently on a Southwest flight headed to Florida to visit family when the man in the seat next to her struck up a casual conversation. He asked what she did for a living, and the two talked about the struggles many teachers face today. Kimber talked to man about how she uses her own money to fund her classroom and provide basic essentials for her students.
The man sitting behind her was listening to the conversation, and handed Kimber $500 in cash for her students! But the kindness didn't end there... Fellow passengers all began to pitch in to help fund Kimber's classroom this year!
The story went viral and even made it on the Today Show this morning!
