This is absolutely heartbreaking, and my thoughts are with this child's family and her community.
A 6-year-old girl from Haverhill has passed away from the flu. Delilah was a first grader at Golden Hill School. She is the first child to die of the flu in our state.
It's been a horrible year for the flu. The best you can do is to get the flu shot, wash your hands often and well, and keep your home disinfected. Haverhill is giving out emergency flu shots if you or someone in your family needs one. Check out the video below...
