It's the City of Champions versus the City of Brotherly Love, and now the mayors are getting in on the actions.
The mayors of Philadelphia and Brockton have put their respective cities' Rocky statues at stake in a wager over the big game. If the Eagles win, Brockton's Mayor Bill Carpenter will have to dress the town's Rocky Marciano statue in Eagles gear. And if (...WHEN!) the Pats win, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney will dress Philly's Rocky Balboa statue in Patriots gear.
The mayors also wagered a keg of beer from Philadelphia's Yards Brewing Company against wine from Rocky Marciano Winery.
