Experts Predicting the Worst Flu Season in History

If you haven't gotten your flu shot yet this year, run, don't walk, to your nearest pharmacy or doctor's office! Experts say this year we should brace for what could be the worst flu season in history.

Yeah, it's gonna be bad.

Remember that horrible swine flu from back in 2009? It made thousands and thousands of people sick all around the world, and this year's flu strain, known as the influenza A virus, is predicted to be far worse.

The Centers For Disease Control says this year's flu virus in the U.S. could reach epidemic proportions soon. In Arizona, health officials say flu cases are up more than 758 percent over this time last year.

The CDC reports the flu is widespread in 46 states, including California, Connecticut, New York, Virginia, and right here in Massachusetts.
