Police Officer Shovels Business Owner's Sidewalk After Heavy Snowfall

Business owner Betsy Curtis says when her city of Augusta, Maine got hammered with snow she was dreading the big dig she would have to undertake. Her initial fears of getting a fine were brushed aside when Officer Ben Murtiff grabbed a shovel and quickly cleared a path for her customers. 

Betsy considered the favor a true miracle. Over 11,000 people are sent to the hospital every year with injuries from shoveling snow.
