Love the taste of wine, love the buzz, but hate the hangover? Well, there's now a cure for you! Rebel Coast Winery has created a cannabis-infused wine that’s also alcohol-free. So you get a buzz, but no hangover the next day!
The California winery is taking preorders for what they say is the world’s first no-alcohol, cannabis-infused wine, a Sauvignon Blanc. “It’s not a bong water smelling slop, it’s actually insanely good. It smells like marijuana and tastes like Sauvignon Blanc,” according to Rebel Coast’s website. “Because of the marijuana addition, this Sauvignon Blanc has a very herbaceous nose,” with notes of lemongrass, lavender, and citrus.” Each bottle contains 16 milligrams of THC, the chemical in pot that gets you high, and each serving has four milligrams of THC.
Rebel Coast is shipping the first batch of orders in California in January, after recreational use becomes officially legal there. Then they’re going to roll it out in other states where recreational use is legal, like Colorado.
The winery is planning on releasing a cannabis-infused rosé and a sparkling wine next year, so next summer could be hangover free!
