Flying This Holiday Season? Wear Your Ugly Christmas Sweater!

Flying next Friday? Make sure you wear your best Ugly Christmas Sweater!

Next Friday is National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day (yes that's a real thing) and to celebrate Alaska Air announced that on that day anyone wearing an ugly holiday sweater will be allowed to board their plane early!

Virgin America and Horizon Air flights, both airlines owned by Alaska, will also take part in the promotion, across 115 cities.

“Travel during the holidays can be stressful for guests, especially those who do not travel often,” Natalie Bowman, Alaska Airlines managing director of marketing and advertising, explains. “This fun promotion not only allows guests to board early on that day, but gives people another opportunity to dust off that ugly holiday sweater hanging in the back of their closet.”
