The World's Youngest Self-Made Billionaire is 26-Years-Old

According to Forbes magazine, there are 2,043 billionaires in the world. That’s the most billionaires in the 31 years Forbes has been tracking them down. And, the youngest person on that list is just 26 years old.

When Irish entrepreneur John Collison was just 17 years old, he co-founded an online auction-management system called Shuppa – and sold it a year later for $5 million.

He and his older brother then co-founded Stripe in 2011, which is a software package that enables online payments. Stripe is now worth over $9 billion – and has made John the youngest billionaire on the planet.
