Here's Why Experts Are Terrified for Miami Right Now

The past few years in Miami have been great for builders. The coastline is covered with high-rise buildings, with more and more going up all the time. But unfortunately this construction has left Miami residents in grave danger.

As construction of high-rises continues, construction equipment like massive cranes are scattered throughout the city.

These cranes are built to withstand winds up to 145 mph. But Hurricane Irma has sustained winds clocking in at 185 mph.

This makes for an extremely dangerous situation. The destruction could be devastating, and deadly.
