Petco has some great tips for how to keep your dog safe, happy, and healthy!
1. Always have some dog essentials on-hand when traveling, or away from home for the day. Two bottles of water, a scoop or two of food, a portable bowl, and some favorite toys.
2. Never ever ever leave your dog unattended in a car. Even in moderate temperatures, the temp inside of a car can skyrocket.
3. Secure your dog in the backseat with a travel harness, or in the front seat with a booster. Airbags can be fatal for animals.
