Family Adopts Little Girl With No Limbs

Two years ago Adrianne and Jason Stewart began the process of adopting Maria from an orphanage in the Philippines. Maria, now 3-years-old, had been in the orphanage since she was just 6-months-old. She was born without any limbs-- no arms, no legs.

But now that she's home with her new family, she's exposed to all kinds of new things and learning how much she is capable of!

Maria's mother says she loves to color, listen to music, and is always playing and smiling!

"She’s helped us to see that kids like her are really no different than any other kid. She’s doing all the same things as our other kids, just in a little bit different way. She had one of the most beautiful smiles and at the time we weren’t really planning on adopting a special needs child but we just fell in love with her," Adrianne told InsideEdition.com. "We just knew we needed her to be part of our family."
