A Teacher Is Suspended After Showing This Anti-Bullying Video to High School Student

A teacher in North Carolina has been suspended after showing this powerful anti-bullying video to her high school students.

The video, called "Love Is All You Need?" flips the "norm" to make a strong point to kids about acceptance and kindness.

In the video, a middle school-aged child is relentlessly bullied for being straight. As time goes on, the bullying becomes violent, and Ashley attempts to take her own life.

Some parents weren't happy about it, and complained to school officials who placed the teacher on suspension while they "investigate" the issue.

Students, as well as other parents, told local news outlet WSOCTV that they thought it was a great video:

"I think it's a great message to get out in the school. I personally have dealt with bullying, so I think it’s good to get the point across that 'Hey, it's not OK to pick on somebody.'"

"I don’t think it was vulgar or anything. I think it's better to be aware and to know the possibility of what kids' actions could do."
