BRING ON STANLEY CUP ICE BEER
This is pretty cool! Last Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup, beating the Montreal Canadiens in five games.
To commemorate the victory, Coors Light is brewing beer made with the actual ice those guys were skating on during Game 5 -- and will call the special brew “Coors Light Champions Ice.”
They’re actually going to transport ice scraped from Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay, Florida, to the Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado.
Coors Light Champions Ice will be available in several Tampa bars beginning next week -- and fans will also be able to purchase 32-ounce collectible growlers to go along with the limited-edition beer. (CBS Sports)
