Lauren Alaina is making country music proud on season 28 of Dancing With the Stars, but learning unfamiliar dance steps wasn't the hardest part in her most recent performance.
Following her breathtaking foxtrot to Dolly Parton's "Jolene" with professional partner Gleb Savchenko last night (Monday), Lauren revealed to co-host Erin Andrews that her cousin Holly had suffered a brain bleed and slipped into a coma. Lauren left the show, missing a few days of rehearsals, to be with her family.
She said, "My family told me to come here. And I want to dedicate the dance to you, Holly. We're praying for you and believing in a full recovery. We love you."
Lauren and Gleb remain in the competition after scoring a 32, one of the highest scores of the night.
