NOBODY’S SHOWING UP FOR TAMPA BAY RAYS GAMES
The Tampa Bay Rays are having a great season. Sure, they’re a small market team, but they’re winning enough to be within striking distance of the New York Yankees for the division lead.
That’s exciting. And impressive. But … The people of Tampa Bay don’t seem to think so as they aren’t coming out to the ballpark.
Earlier this week, the Rays drew the smallest crowd in franchise history when less than 5,800 fans showed up.
To get a sense of how pathetic this is, consider that the previous record was 6,509 -- when Hurricane Irma was in the forecast. (Total Pro Sports)
