Mark Wahlberg has donated the $1.5 million he made for reshoots on All the Money in the World to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.
In a statement, the actor said, “Over the last few days my reshoot fee for All the Money in the World has become an important topic of conversation. I 100% support the fight for fair pay and I’m donating the $1.5M to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in Michelle Williams’ name.”
William Morris Endeavor, the talent agency that represents both stars, said it will donate another $500,000, following a pledge of $1 million earlier this month.
The controversy began after it was revealed that Wahlberg made $1.5 million for the reshoots while Williams made only $1000.
The reshoots were necessary when Christopher Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey, who was dumped over sexual misconduct allegations. (Today)
