You know I have so much love and respect for anyone that has served our country. Recently a teacher from Marlboro High School contacted to me to let me know about his charity "Sweats For Vets" The mission for Sweats for Vets is to provide a new Boston team sweatshirt to all the homeless veterans in New England during the Christmas season.
Sweats for Vets annual goal for 2017 is to collect 1,100+ Boston team sweatshirts. In doing so, we will be able to reach our homeless veterans in all six New England states. Once achieved, the sweatshirts will be wrapped and delivered during our Christmas vacation. This tremendous effort will help to keep our veterans warm this winter and bring to them a little pride.
How can you help?
- Buy a Boston team sweatshirt and drop it off at one of our drop-off sites (AMSA, American Legion in Marlborough; Finnegan's Pub in Hudson; Hudson Family Dental in Hudson; Crossfit Rail Trail in Hudson; or Julio's Liquors in Westborough.
- Make a donation through our website through Paypal or send us a check. Remember Sweats for Vets is a 501(c)3 non-profit recognized by the IRS.
