Kip Moore’s new album “Slowheart” is set for release on September 8th, and he filmed the entire process of making the record for a new documentary. “The Journey to Slowheart,” which was shot by his good friend and video director PJ Brown, follows Kip not only in the studio, but during the months he took off to travel the world before getting to the business of finishing the record.
Kip says by traveling with him PJ got to see him come back from the exhaustion he felt and “evolve,” noting, “we just felt like it was a crucial time.” Although the idea to film the journey wasn’t actually his, Kip notes that he soon realized “something pretty special was happening,” adding, “so I’m glad we were able to capture it.”
Although Kip's had a few screenings of “Journey to Slowheart,” there’s currently no word on whether it will be released.
