Brett Eldredge certainly has to be happy about how his self-titled album did on the charts this week. Brett debuts at number two on the all-genre "Billboard" 200 moving 46,000 equivalent album units, with 36,000 in traditional album sales. Although it wasn’t enough to beat KendrickLamar for the top spot on the “Billboard” 200, the 36,000 in album sales does earn him the number one position on the Top Album Sales chart.
Brett’s album is the highest charting record of his career, doing better than his last release “Illinois,” which peaked at three. It is also the fourth country album to debut at number two this year, following Zac Brown Band’s “Welcome Home,” Chris Stapleton’s “From A Room: Volume 1” and Brantley Gilbert’s “The Devil Don’t Sleep.”
