Why Is The Zac Brown Band Calling Luke Combs The ‘Real Deal?’

We know that the Zac Brown Band likes their chicken fried, but when it comes to cooking up songs, they are calling on Luke Combs.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Zac was happy to chat about writing with Luke and share the story behind how “Out In The Middle” and “Old Love Song” came to be.

“I am just a fan of him and what he does,” says Zac admitting that he is a big supporter of the “Beer Never Broke My Heart” singer. “I am proud for him to be in the format because he is the real deal.”

“Getting to write with him made it even better because he is just a great dude,” Zac continues. “He is a great artist. He’s got an incredible voice and no ego about him.”

“We wrote two smashes…in like four hours sitting down writing together,” says Zac. “I am proud of him and the support he is getting, and I feel like he deserves it.”

Both tracks can be found on the Zac Brown Band’s latest album, ‘The Comeback.’ Click HERE and catch ZBB out on the road on their ‘The Comeback Tour,’ featuring special guests Ashland CraftTeddy Swims, Adam Doleac, and Devin Dawson.
