Yesterday Colton and I both were looking for local events where one could lend a hand to Australia - KO Catering is hosting a great event on the 28th that's already sold out, but tonight "In Stitches Sew" in Quincy is helping out by having a craft night.
Australia is in need for Joey pouches of all sizes, bat wraps, wallaby beds, blankets and so much more. At this event you'll be helping the wildlife of Australia! The event is walk in from 6:30PM - 10PM and will be $25 per person. The money goes to shipping and fabric. Any extra will go to Australia.
If you can't sew you can still help by cutting fabric or donating money or fabric. They need t-shirts, fleece, flannel, cotton recycled bed sheets. Crocheters and knitters are needed too.
In Stitches is located at 48 Franklin Street in Quincy!
