Suspicious Death Investigation Underway In Manchester

MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Law enforcement officials are investigating a suspicious death in Manchester, New Hampshire.

According to state Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, law enforcement officials responded to the death near Beech and Union streets on Sunday morning.

MacDonald did not disclose any further details.

As the Union Leader reports, in a separate press release, Manchester police said just before 2 a.m., officers in the same area had found a person involved in an altercation suffering from a gunshot wound. Another person involved in the altercation also arrived at a local hospital with a stab wound.

The Union Leader said Manchester police would not confirm if the incident is related to the death investigation, and referred all questions to the Attorney General’s Office.
