SUDBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A dispatcher for Sudbury Police was injured during this weekend's military action in the Middle East. He was serving for the U.S. Navy at the time.
The 22-year-old was wounded when an Iranian missile struck Dubai, near a base he was at, according to CBS News Boston.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with our military personnel in harms way, to include one of our own who is currently deployed overseas with the United State Navy," Sudbury Police said in a social media post. "He and his colleagues experienced several missile impacts resulting in minor injuries they are mending."
The Navy Reservist's father told CBS News Boston that his son is "doing ok."
