State, North Attleborough Police Search For Missing Child

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — State and local authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a three-year-old North Attleborough girl.

North Attleborough Police said that Ava Amitan is with her father, Vadim Amitan, who has legal custody—but based on information they've received, the young girl may be endangered.

Ava is described as being about 3'2" and 35-40 pounds. She is white with curly strawberry-blond hair and hazel eyes, police said.

The girl's father, 35-year-old Vadim Amitan, is described as being about 6'2 and 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes with a tattoo of a black arrow on his left hand.

Police said that Amitan could be driving a silver 2007 Toyota Camry with Massachusetts licence plate 8ZB349.
