BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A burst of snow covered parts of Massachusetts Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, the highest observed snowfall totals were recorded north and west of Boston in Ashburnham (4.6 inches), South Royalston (4.0 inches), East Hawley (3.7 inches), West Townsend (3.2 inches), and Fitchburg (3.2 inches).

This brings the total accumulated snowfall in Boston during the 2019-2020 winter season to 15.1 inches and Worcester to 35.0 inches.
