BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — People pulled together on Boston Common on Saturday to help make the summer more enjoyable for kids living in Boston.
It was a test of strength and teamwork aimed at raising money for Boston youth sports and fitness programs. Teams of 10 raced against the clock to pull a 10-ton duck boat across a course on Boston Common for the second annual Duck Boat challenge.

Hosted by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Boston Duck Tours, the competition drew men and women.
The Woodside Woody's was a 10-member team with nine women and one man.
"It's really fun, and it's a great way to support the community in the parks and enjoy a beautiful spring day," one member said. "Our coach, Kim, has us lifting, you know 100, 200 plus pounds. This is nothing."
