NEWPORT, R.I. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Norwood food truck owner was hired to serve food at a private event over the weekend in Newport, Rhode Island. Turns out, it was actress Jennifer Lawrence's wedding.

Kevin Tortorella is the owner of Boston's Baddest Burger and Sandwich Co. food truck. He realized this was no ordinary event as soon as he pulled into Belcourt Castle in Newport.

"It became very evident this was more than a party because there was paparazzi everywhere," Tortorella said.

Tortorella was contracted through a third-party booking company to serve late night burgers and hot dogs to wedding guests. He didn't see Lawrence, but served about 150 sandwiches to some guests he's pretty sure are famous.

"I cannot substantiate anybody exactly. Some folks have asked me that and shown me some pictures, and I said 'I think that that person was there,'" Tortorella said.

The main thing, according to Tortorella, is that the bridge and groom were happy with his service.

"The folks that represent Jennifer called me today and told me how thrilled they were," Tortorella said.
