BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The jackpot for Friday night's Mega Millions drawing has risen to $340 million, with an estimated cash option of $230.8 million.
It's the largest pot since a $530 million prize was won out of California on June 7, and the 23rd drawing since the last jackpot was won on September 24, a $227 million prize.
Tickets can be purchased for $2 before 10:45 p.m. Friday; the drawing will take place at 11 p.m.
Drawings are available on the Massachusetts Lottery's website, masslottery.com, as well as their social media accounts.
