TAUNTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The daughter of Taunton Mayor Shaunna O'Connell has been found safe in Ohio after going missing last Wednesday. Police in Hilliard, Ohio said 18-year-old Riley O'Connell was found on Sunday at about 6:30 p.m.
Riley disappeared from Evoke Wellness, a mental health and rehab center. A post from O'Connell's Facebook account said her daughter was getting medical care, and showed the mayor and her husband hugging outside a hospital emergency room.
The mayor thanked the community for their "outpouring of love and support during this difficult time."
