Brad Paisley is “psyched” to appear on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
The country artist is teaming up with MLB star Clayton Kershaw to play on the long-running game show for charity. Paisley said he’s “watched this ever since Regis [late legend and former host Regis Philbin] was the guy doing it, back in the old days.”
In a recent clip on Instagram, Kershaw shared that he’s playing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire for Kershaw's Challenge. He started the “faith-based, others-focused” charity 15 years ago, aiming to help “kids in a lot of different ways,” Kershaw said. Paisley is playing for The Store, which he founded with his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The Store aims to “combat food insecurity in Middle Tennessee with empathy, dignity, and respect.”
Paisley also shared a sneak peek of a question he and Kershaw answered on the show, though he wrote in that Instagram caption, “not all the questions were this easy.”
Paisley and Kershaw will play Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in the new episode airing Wednesday evening (August 5). The show will air at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
