Fun Fact - Though I grew up in WMASS we moved their from Douglas, MA when I was just about 5. We lived on the RI/MA state line. Two houses up from my OG home is the real life "Conjuring" House in Burrilville, RI.
About 2 years ago a ghost hunting couple purchased the home and welcomed the public to special events. They're booked until 2022.
Now the house is up for sale - spirits and all!
For the record - my whole family lived up the road at one point and when I asked my Dad about the house he mentioned he played there a few times as a kid, but experienced nothing. Though the movie is based on the family that moved in after the family that my Dad had known.
