The great American past-time had a moment last night! One of the most epic baseball movies (not open for debate) of all time "Field of Dreams" had a real life MLB game last night. The Chicago White Sox faced off with the New York Yankees on the field in Iowa where the 1989 movie was filmed. In fact a stadium to hold 8,000 had been build with the intent to play on the 30th Anniversary in 2019... but oh yea COVID.
Now I was at least hoping Kevin Costner would throw out the first pitch, but something more epic was planned instead. Kevin walked the teams on the field through the famous cornfield. If you love baseball... if you love this movie... you won't be able to watch without goosebumps. ENJOY!
For the record the Sox beat the Yankees 8-9 :-) (SOX TEAMS UNITE)
