Woman Celebrates 50th Wedding Anniversary with 50 Year Old Coors

Have you ever wondered what a 50 year old beer would taste like? I would assume not all that great, but one woman from South Dakota found out.

Diane Nesselhuf and her husband Ed married in 1971. From their wedding they held on to a can of Coors that they would enjoy on their 50th wedding anniversary. Sadly Ed passed away in 2016, but Diane kept to their plan and cracked that can to cheers to what would have been their 50th.

She said the beer was still carbonated, but tasted a bit sweeter than a fresh can. Coors even heard her story and sent along a cake with the message "Cheers to 50 Years".
