The day was Friday November 13th and my friend Krista and I had set up a surprise for our friend Liz who was celebrating her birthday that day. She came down from Maine to meet us in Salem for a dinner at the Hawthorne and a special surprise reading with Loralei at Crow Haven (the oldest witch shop in Salem). Loralei has read celebrities and I had one done a year prior that I thought was interesting so I was excited for Liz to have her reading at Crow Haven.
We're pumped to celebrate and the night before we get a call saying they have to cancel our reading because a film crew is coming in. BUMMER! We find another psychic to do a reading (it's Salem... easy to find) and I don't think much about it.
The next morning I'm creeping through Insta and I see Luann (my fave from New York) posting video from the Hawthorne. It clicks. WE GOT CANCELLED BECAUSE THE CAST OF RHONY WENT TO LORALEI! AND they were staying at the Hawthorne. I was living a life like one of my faves that night and never ran into her!
