Well this would be the time of year I would be partaking in some sort of 5K just about every weekend. Running in fall is my favorite time to run outside!
Of course this weekend is The St Jude Walk/Run Boston - I'll actually be doing this as more of a hike with some girlfriends at Blue Hills Reservation - great way to get up high and see the city and the beginning of the leaves changing!
Next weekend - Sunday October 4th I'll be running for Harpoon Dogtoberfest! Last year Colton and I were able to actually host their "Festminster Dog Show"... dogs dressed up in costumes raising awareness for the MSPCA (ADOPT DON'T SHOP) HECK YES!
Clearly I was looking forward to this event, but at least this year Roxy and I can both slap on matching running bibs and hit some trails in the woods together for a fun 1 mile run/walk - Roxy got her Wag Bag yesterday and let's just say she was very happy ... MORE DEETS on the EVENT
And on Veteran's Day Weekend Nov. 6th - 8th - I'll once again ...virtually ... run the DAV5K - last year was my first time and it was so cool to run that 5K around Castle Island supporting the DAV - Event Info Here
