Dancing Gronk Delivers PPE To Mass. Firefighters

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Friday, former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski danced his way through donating boxes of Personal Protective Equipment to frontline workers near Gillette Stadium.

According to Foxborough and Walpole Fire Departments, Gronkowski and his girlfriend Camille Kostek stopped by to drop off hundreds of face masks and face shields for firefighters during the pandemic.

"The Walpole Fire Fighters let me get on a truck," Gronk said in an Instagram story post, which featured a video of him dancing on the front bumper of a firetruck while wearing a face shield.

Kostek said the couple were giving the Foxborough fire department face shields for "anyone that needs them," including nursing homes nearby.

"I just want to thank the Foxboro Fire Department for keeping my house safe throughout the years," Gronk said in another post.

In another story post to Instagram, Gronkowski sat inside a Foxborough firetruck with his face mask and shield on, pretending to drive and survey the road.

He also thanked the firefighters for giving him and Kostek a tour of the firehouse, their workout area, and for letting him take a turn sliding down the pole.
