Suspect Who Fired Shots In Hingham Shipyard Now In Custody

HINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police say a person with a gun fired shots at authorities at the Hingham Shipyard.

After receiving a domestic dispute call, police found the armed suspect inside a bedroom of an apartment complex.

The suspect was barricaded inside the home, but surrendered to police after hours of negotiation.

Police said that no one was injured during the incident.

Residents that live in the complex were all safely evacuated, and have since been allowed back in their homes.
