Boston has their very own Australian Eatery inside the East Boston Shipyard. This spot has been on my list of places to check out... my old boss told me in the summer it's a great spot to grab a pie and a Downeast Cider next door.
Alas, I've not gotten to experience yet, but this morning I saw in the owners efforts to help his homeland of Australia he organized a big "Boston Barbie For Bushfire Support". The event is officially SOLD OUT and will be going down on the 28th with the participation of 20 different Boston restaurants. The goal is to raise $100,000 with the sell out they're already at $50,000 and looking to raise the rest in sponsorships.
