Sunday Fund-Day- Boston Firefighters for the Pan Mass Challenge

If you're looking for a little fun this weekend for a great cause nab a ticket to Sunday Fund-Day at Florian Hall in Dorchester! 23 Boston firefighters will be participating in the Pan Mass Challenge with funds benefiting Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The afternoon will be filled with fun, food trucks, live music, a dunk tank, corn hole tournament, and a kids bike ride. $30 at the door $20 in advance. Sunday 1-4PM.

These 23 firefighters will cycle 200 miles on August 3rd to fight against cancer. Every three weeks a Boston firefighter is diagnosed with cancer - 67% of Boston firefighters will face a diagnosis in their lifetime. Firefighters are twice as likely to receive a diagnosis than a civilian because of their jobs.

The Pan Mass Challenge is the most successful athletic fundraising event leading the battle against cancer with over $650 million dollars raised. The Boston Fire Team has pledged to raise a minimum of $115,000 for the cause this year!
