CHARLESTON, Maine (WBZ-AM) -- Maine State Police are warning the public about an escaped convicted killer who is still believed to be in the area.
Arnold Nash, 65, was last seen at the Mountain View Correctional Facility in Charleston, Maine around 8:20 p.m. Thursday night in the facility's minimum security area. Nash is currently serving a 45-year murder and robbery sentence that began May 29, 1992. He was set to be released December 14, 2019.
Nash is 5'6" and about 160 lbs. He was described as wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a light blue shirt when last seen. State Police warned the public not to approach him if spotted, and to instead call law enforcement.
