Boston tops the annual list of best summer destinations in the country due to our temperate weather (did they forget about the humidity?) and a unique juxtaposition of history and modern innovation. To determine their rankings, U.S. News rates each destination in a number of different categories including sights, culture, people, food, shopping, family, nightlife, adventure, romance, and accessibility.
