BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- All comes down to tomorrow night for the Bruins and Maple Leafs. Game 7 at the Garden.

Boston's failed to put away Toronto so far, despite 2-nothing and 3-1 series leads. So, in order to reach round two and a date with the Lightning, Brad Marchand's B's will have to claim the winner-take-all affair.

"I think if anybody would've told us at the start of the year that we're going to be in Game 7, first round at home, you know, we'd take it," he said. "Obviously, it's tough given the position we're in, but again, we're going to look forward to the next game, that's all that we can control."

"Whatever's happened the last six games, really doesn't mean anything," he continued. "We're both fighting for our lives next game, so it's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be a big challenge. They're a great team, they've played really well this series, and every game's been very tight."

B's also squandered a 3-1 advantage on the Leafs in 2013, but rallied to win the seventh game in overtime on the way to an appearance in the Stanely Cup final.

Patrice Bergeron was the hero in that clincher, and he believes Boston's vets can help its young players.

"When you've lived it, you want to share that experience," he said. "We have some amazing young players in this locker room, and I know they're gonna step up as well. That's the approach we wanna have, and that's it. There's not much to be said more than we need to be better."

And win.
